In Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade, the magic of Tommy cod fishing begins each year on December 26. The season ends in mid-February.

When winter sets in, a fishing village springs to life on the Sainte-Anne River, with the upstream journey of the Atlantic tomcod in their spawning season.
